Founders
Poonam Shirsat is the Founder of THE SKILL COMPANY is in the field of education for the last 11 plus years.
With an experience in grooming youth in Public Speaking, Personality upgrading, training for Anchoring and Soft Skills, Has addressed the training needs of several Education Institutions and Corporates. With Trainings for some of the large companies in Phama Vertical, some of the large educational groups, hospitality sector etc.
Her career in Training began with the setup of her Academy in Nagpur, now well known as Amon Ra’s Academy of Broadcasting, for being Central India’s Radio Training Academy with maximum placements in the industry across India training the Youth in the field of Radio and Personality Grooming. With Electronics and Telecommunication background she is also trained in Radio Station Management and Operations and has been Training and instrumental in placing several students in the Radio Industry. She is referred to as a Gentle Giant of the Academy who ensures focus and dedication. She handles issues personal and professional with equal aplomb & bringing her personal touch to the most mundane of topics.
She handles topics like Personality development, Public Speaking, Team Dynamics, Manners & Etiquettes, Communication, Business Communication, Positive Mental Attitude, Healthy Mind set, Leadership training, Entrepreneurship development and also other customized programs.
With several assignments in around 20 countries she believes it has been global and practical lessons of corporate world and social behaviors.
Amruta an MBA from Mumbai University having attended IES college Bandra is making her comeback into the business world after taking a break for a few years. This is the second venture where she is actively involved, the first one being the Director at Brunchbites Pvt.ltd.
Her earlier corporate experience has been with an HR company Teamlease services Pvt.Ltd and in the education sector with a stint at R A Podar Group which helps her understand the students and corporate skilling needs.
